Having grown up on the east coast of the US and spending most of my shore time in NJ; the concept of actually driving on the beach with your car is somewhat foreign. Driving on the beach in NJ would normally result in being hopelessly stuck in the soft sand or finding yourself in jail.
The photo is one taken in Port A several years ago. It is a significantly cropped version of the original. The shape was required to meet the needs of a magazine cover. This one didn't make it, but another of Monet's pond at Giverny got to the cover.
