Spontaneous Parade - Oaxaca, Mexico

Most of the Hispanic world celebrates El Dia De Reyes, the Epiphany, on January 6. This is the day when the Three Wise Men (los Reyes) arrive bearing their wonderful gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh for the Baby Jesus. In Oaxaca, this is an event that is celebrated with multiple parades leading up to the actual day. We were in the Zocalo when a spontaneous parade spilled onto the streets. While I captured a video from one side of the street, our friend, Cathy, was filming from the other side. We didn't find out until much later.
