Time Lapse Video: Sunrise #1

We just spent a week in Belize. It was great! Our time was spent on Halfmoon Caye which is located within Lighthouse Reef.  While there, I made a first attempt at a time lapse video of a sunrise. I learned quite a bit about the capture technique. I could have improved the image capture if I had a somewhat more sophisticated camera which would have allowed for some varied settings. Using a 10 stop neutral density filter would have calmed down the water movement. I used a Canon G12 with an inexpensive intervalometer and a Gorilla Pod as my tripod. Take a look and give it a try yourself. More time lapse and maybe a cinemagraph.
