Smart Car or Not?

My wife came home yesterday all excited about the Smart Car. She is ready to sell her Passat and go Smart. It looks like a test drive is coming as soon as we can find a time that fits our schedules.

We owned a Citreon 2CV 'Deux Chevaux' when we lived in Brussels. My wife was the principal driver; she reveled in the fact that she was the only American she knew that was brave enough to take it out on the auto route. It may be some of those memories that make the Smart Car so desirable.
