NOLA and the Oyster
When I think about eating in NOLA, I think of having some oysters either at the Acme Oyster House or Felix's Restaurant and Oyster Bar. I'm kinda partial to Felix's. I have lots of fond memories of standing at the oyster bar with friends, and the oysters being shucked in front of us by a seasoned expert. Sipping a cold beer and savoring the freshest of oysters in the company of friends is a great treat. If you go, make sure to stand at the oyster bar and have the oysters shucked to your order. Remember to tip generously.
