Special Effects

One of the really fun aspects of using Photoshop Lightroom is the ability to create and apply presets in the Develop module. Once you have discovered your creative self, you can save a series of settings that will allow the reapplication of those settings to additional images. The image of the gravestone (tombstone to some) has an almost graphic look. I've got that one saved.

The image of the saddle is a high contrast color image that has an added dimension created with the use of the split tone panel. It adds a coolness to the shadows and a slight warmth to the highlights.

This Saint Louis cathedral image has some selected colors desaturated. A few other sliders were tweaked. I've saved all three of these effects as User Presets. I can go back to them again and again.
