Out and about at the ACL Fest

It always seems that it is important to get to the fest early. You must stake out a good spot and stick to it. Maybe you will meet some friends - there will be about 65,000 people attending each day.

Getting a good spot might mean being able to see the stage, being in the chair zone, and being near the recycle/trash containers. Of course being near the beer tent would be a plus.

Can it be a real festival without hula hoops?

Umbrellas are a mainstay even if you have slathered yourself with sun screen; be sure to bring a blanket or a chair (of course the chair puts you in the chair zone).
