Fishing Pier at Dawn

Getting up at dawn is not one of my favorite pastimes. But to capture an image at dawn, there are few options. I took a series, including this one of the Port "A" fishing pier, using HDR techniques. I have been intriqued with the HDR concept in that the extended dynamic range has the potential of bringing out more detail in the shadow areas. This image was captured in Port Aransas, Texas just north of the fishing pier. I took lots of shots, but this was one of my favorites.
