One more from White Sands

Taking a hike at White Sands can offer a lot of solitude. On the day this image was captured, my wife and I encountered only one other couple hiking through the dunes. It is hard going through the soft sands but worth the effort. Watch out for the heat on many of the days. It is in the south of New Mexico! The footsteps out into the dunes spoke to me about solo journeys that we all take.
