Sunset at White Sands
A couple of years ago, my wife and I were traveling to the Grand Canyon to meet her brothers and their wives or significant others. We were meeting at the Grand Canyon in order to hike in and out of the canyon, more on that at another time. On the way, we stopped at White Sands National Monument. We arrived just before the gates were to close which was shortly before sunset. The next morning the park would be closed due to munitions testing at the army testing grounds. No sunrise photo was going to be possible; so a sunset image was the only possibility for a "sun on the horizon" shot. This one is another HDR image, enjoy!
Fuji FinePix S2 Pro, Tamron 28-75mm lens set to 74mm, ISO 100, f16 at various exposures.
