Day #10 Akaroa to Mt Cook

We headed out of Akaroa in the direction of Mt Cook, our destination for the evening. We stopped in Geraldine and visited the farmers market, and departed with some berries and cookies. Some very cool music, too.

Possum Marino products

Possum Merino is a blend of possum fur and merino wool. Lightweight and warm, and it gets rid of possums.

Then on to Lake Tekapo and finally to Mt Cook. At Mt Cook we hiked to a viewing point for the Tasman Glacier, the largest in New Zealand.
