Bergen Fish Market

The Bergen Fish Market is well known. It was originally a market for local fishermen to sell their catch. With tourism, it is now more like what one sees at Fishermen's Wharf in San Francisco.

One of many vendors at the Fish Market

Salmon sandwiches ready for consumption

Working the crowd

Fresh crab

Even a popcorn peddler

Vegetables are mainly of the root variety; there is some cabbage

Lots of fresh berries

These are not bats

It is actually split, salt cod

Fresh fish, too

And, a cool one
