Day #36 Melbourne: Randeen had a morning swim at the the City Baths (est. 1860); then, we headed to the museum area. First, it was the NGV (National Gallery of Victoria). The first 2 floors are principally First Peoples (Aboriginal) art. The were some very interesting pieces normally telling an old Aboriginal story. The styles were carried from work to work just as they were passed from generation to generation. We joined a guided tour with 2 other Americans, just the four of
us. The guide did an exceptional job of conveying a small amount of info as well as reading the description next to each work.
We attempted to eat at a restaurant that had no wait staff. One scans a QR code, downloads an app then orders and await the food ordered. The app would not download; so, we bought a sandwich at another food court. So much for automation?
Then, we went to the ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image). It is all about the created moving image from the very first crude animations and illusions. Hey, they even had a View-Master (the View-Master's images did move in a circle). Lots of very cool stuff.

Finally, it was a tram back to the apartment including a visit to Cole's grocery store for dinner stuff.
Tomorrow, more Melbourne or Melbs, if you prefer.
