Day #43 Robe to Adelaide
Mostly a driving day. We did stop in Kingston which is about 30 minutes outside of Robe. One of the oddities that may be found in Australia is a propensity for big things in the form of outdoor sculptures. Kingston has The Big Lobster. To the locals it is known as Larry the Lobster. Larry is a spiny lobster who stands 17 meters tall, and is regarded as one of the most impressive of Australia's Big Things. There is, also, a lighthouse in Kingston, not as impressive as Larry.

We arrived in Adelaide by mid-afternoon and found our way to the apartment. Pretty nice place.
Then it was time to fill the gas tank in the rental car and return it. Easy peasy. We followed that with a trip to tourist info and made a reservation to visit Kangaroo Island on Saturday.
Tomorrow, a little exploring in Adelaide.
