We had a lot of possibilities for our last day in Sydney. We did have a couple of reservations, Rocks Tour and the Australian Chamber Orchestra at the Opera House.
On the way to the Art Gallery of New South Wales, we took a detour into the Hyde Park Barracks Museum. The barracks is actually a night prison for convicts in Sydney. During the day they were forced labor, building Sydney.

When we finished our barracks visit, it was too late to go
to the Art Gallery of New South Wales. So, we pointed our feet to the Sydney Opera House. We had tickets to a performance of Beethoven"s Emperor by the Australia Chamber Orchestra. The Sydney Opera House is as stunning on the inside as it is on the exterior. We grabbed some lunch in the opera house. We listened to the pre concert talk and then found our seats. The concert was really good. A great experience.

We had time to kill before The Rocks Tour. The Rocks is an old neighborhood in Sydney near the harbor bridge. It is the oldest neighborhood. Kieran was our guide and he did a good job.
