Day #25 Spit to Manly Walk
Still no Taylor Swift tickets and Monday is her last show in Sydney. Today, we did the Spit to Manly Walk. It is one of the famous walks in and around Sydney. It is a 10 kilometer tramp, and the online description indicates that it is generally flat. Do not trust online descriptions. The elevation gain was 1274 feet of assent. This is not generally flat in my book. We took a bus to the starting point and missed the bus stop. A little backtracking was required. We did manage to finish the walk in 3 hours and 20 minutes.

We were in search of the Manly seaside pool in order for Randeen to get in some laps. We found that the only seaside pool was not a lap pool.

After some lunch, Randeen headed into the water off of the beach for a leisurely 40 minutes of "lap" swimming. I assumed a reclining position in the shade of some trees by the beach.

We took a completely filled ferry from Manly to the Circular Quay and took a train back to the apartment. As it was the last night of the Chinese New Year, we took off to Chinatown.

Tomorrow we're off to Bondi Beach and the Iceberg seaside pool.
