The final night of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Sydney draws to an end. We spoke to some moms and daughters who went to Sunday's concert, and on the train this afternoon; we spoke to some young women going to tonight's concert. Moms and daughters were gaga; the young women on this afternoon's train paid AUS$400 for their tickets (that's about US$ 260). Anyway, the concerts were a great success. That's what we hear.
Back to us. We decided to
do the coastal hike from Coogee (pronounced like COULD-gee) to Bondi (pronounced BOND-eye). This required some public transport. This time we did not make an error on bus stops. We started on a paved path with the promise of many stairs (true but not too bad) and 6 kilometers distance.

Randeen jumped into the sea on a couple of locations along the path to Bondi (about 6 kilometers). We went from Coogee to Clovelly to Bronte and finally to Bondi.

The Bondi Icebergs Pool was established in 1929 as a swimming club for men. Women were not members until 1965. Now, it is open to everyone. Randeen, and even I, went for a swim in this iconic pool.

We then ate in the cafe (way good oysters). Finally, it was a bus and a train back to our apartment.

Okay, in the past 3 days in Sydney we racked up some steps. Saturday = 24,000 steps (about 9.6 miles), Sunday = 28,000 steps (about 11.2 miles), and Monday = 13,000 steps (about 5.2 miles). The question is: accomplishment or stupidity - something to ponder.
Packing up tonight for an early flight to Airlie Beach. A snorkel trip to the south end of the GBR and a sailing trip to the Whitsunday Islands. More to come.
